News from Woodland Hill Montessori School

The Tempest

The Upper Elementary worked hard and rehearsed over the course of the spring to put on this year's Shakespeare production. The fifth and sixth grade students performed The Tempest and the fourth grade students performed the musical Shakespeare Rocks. In addition to a performance in the auditorium, the group put on a performance en plein air in the wooded clearing by the playground. Great job to our UE actors and crew for another wonderful performance!

Spring Concert

The spring concerts took place on Wednesday, May 30. The violin students performed, as did the elective classes. The gymnastics troupe put on a glow-in-the-dark performance to "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus, the Glee Cllub sand several songs including "Blackbird" by the Beatles, and the STOMP crew presented a video performance of their raucous rhythms. We'll be able to enjoy more student performances on June 15 at the graduation and moving up ceremonies.
