World Vets News

We Ended 2014 with Two Sterilization Campaigns in the Caribbean

During the month of December World Vets operated two sterilization campaigns in the Caribbean. Our free services benefited animals in  the Dominican Republic as well as San Andres Island.

We would like to acknowledge and thank our dedicated volunteers, and local partners, in addition to Fondation Brigitte Bardot for their continual support of our sterilization efforts.

Personalized Surgical Training Now Being Offered

Starting this year World Vets will be offering a personalized surgical training experience. This opportunity is open to recently graduated veterinarians, foreign veterinarians, in addition to veterinarians preparing for qualifying exams.

This personalized program will be provided out of our Latin American Veterinary Training Center located in Granada, Nicaragua. It will also consist of one on one instruction (in English) in performing spay and neuter procedures and seeks to cater to the specific needs of participants.

Only two participants will be accepted per session to ensure an intensive and personalized program. We are currently scheduling for February 2015, although sessions will be offered periodically throughout the year. Read more
