Wine Knowledge...
by Ben Sinon,
WM General Manager
Merlot Misunderstood
Despite its bad rap in the movie SIDEWAYS, Merlot is a great wine. Actually, at the end of the movie when Paul Giamatti's character is drinking his most prized bottle of wine, it's Merlot. Those made in Bordeaux, France can be the single most expensive bottle of wine produced in the world. It is also the backbone of many great blends, and can be aged for many years. I personally enjoy Merlot from Washington. The most important thing is to decide for yourself.
Happy tasting,

Kind Words
for The Mansion
"Liz
We wanted to be sure to express our most sincere gratitude for everything you and your team at Wrigley Mansion did to make our wedding day a wonderfully memorable occasion. The entire night went off without a hitch. From the first time we met with you to review the venue you have gone above and beyond to ensure our expectations were exceeded. Believe us, we know, we had a great number of special requests and changes all the way to a few days before the big day. Throughout all of them you all accommodated us and had incredible patience. You are a great representative of the mansion.
We could not more strongly encourage anyone considering having their wedding or special event at Wrigley Mansion to do so without hesitation.
Gil and Teresa Valadez"

New Additions to Our Award Winning Wine List
We are pleased to publish an example of some of the newest additions to our wine list, along with prices for members and wine club members.
Our CEO and Sommelier, Paola Embry, selected the new wines, concentrating on expanding the list in Burgundy, one of the greatest wine regions in the world. These wines were selected because of either the vintage or producer, the two most important components of a great wine from Burgundy.
Wine Spectator recently recognized Geordie's as having one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world, having been awarded the 2012 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Become a Wrigley Mansion Wine Member for just $50 annually and enjoy our fabulous wine list at significantly reduced prices.
