Over 3,000 Attendees Help Make
Algiers' Inaugural Fall Festival A Big Success!

None of us quite knew what to expect when board members of the
Algiers Development Corporation (ADC), Algiers Development District (ADD), and the Joint Development Committee (JDC) set out to plan a Fall Festival for ALL of Algiers to enjoy. Our goal was always simple: to work hand-in-hand with members of our community to plan an event that would thank our residents for their tremendous support as well as celebrate our military for all that they do for our country.
What we got in return was beyond even our wildest imagination with nearly 3,000 strong in attendance!

This past Saturday, the first annual Algiers Fall Festival at Federal City became a reality and we couldn't have been blessed with a better day. The weather was perfect for th
e occasion. F
amilies and community members showe
d up in d
roves. Local businesses pledged their support for the military raffle.
And
we all witnessed firsthand the power of community and the joys of Algiers coming together in one place.
We would like to thank The Marine Corps Band, Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band, Young PinStripe Brass Band, The Bucktown Allstars, and Little Freddie King for their performances as well as all of the food trucks, art vendors/booths and sponsors for being such an integral part of the 1st Annual Algiers Fall Festival in 2015.
Last but not least, thank you Algiers for making the festival a truly unforgettable day. We are already looking forward to making Algiers Fall Festival an annual event, so let's ride the momentum into 2016!
