First Meeting of 2012 - Join Us!
Everyone is invited to attend the first Capital Chapter meeting of the new year on Saturday afternoon, January 21, from 2 p.m.-4:45 p.m. at Seton Medical Center in Austin.  Our speaker will be Dr. Paul McCartney (a.k.a. "Dr. Rock") of Rock Chiropractic in Round Rock.  We anticipate AHDI approval of 1 CEC (Complementary Medicine) for attendees.  View the meeting agenda and details

 

If you're NEW to the Capital Chapter, there is no charge to attend your first meeting, so come meet our wonderful members and discover the great benefits of Capital Chapter membershipWe encourage students and new MTs to join us.  All are welcome!  View membership info/dues

SymposiumSave the Date - Annual Symposium
Mark your calendar and make plans to attend the BIG event of the year--the Capital Chapter Annual Symposium.   Save the date

This year's event will be held at the Wingate in Round Rock--the location of our 2009 and 2010 events.  Join us on Friday evening, May 11, for a fun and casual welcome reception before the big event on Saturday, May 12.  Planning is underway to make this a very special Symposium you won't want to miss!  As always, the Capital Chapter will offer a GREAT VALUE--including fantastic speakers, interesting topics, delicious food, amazing prizes, 6-7 CECs, and excellent networking opportunities!  Look for registration information to be announced next month.

Capital Chapter annual membership dues:
AHDI Members: $20 (students pay only $10)
Non-AHDI Members: $25 (students pay only $15)

Enjoy the benefits of networking with fellow MT professionals as well as educational opportunities offered by the Capital Chapter.  Students are encouraged to join!  We offer a mentor program for students and postgraduates. The Capital Chapter supports credentialing and offers partial reimbursement of the exam fee to its members who earn the RMT or CMT credential.  View the "Credentialing News"  website page and see our members who've earned their CMT or RMT certification over the past few years.
