Our New Website

Summer is coming to a close, fall is setting in, and evenings are getting longer . . . . take this time to view and explore our new website. The site is designed by MyLakeTown.com and provides our lake association members (as well as many other lake associations) the ability to get information on news and events, connect with neighbors, find resources, see current weather conditions, participate in discussion boards, buy and sell lake related items, and more.

When you go to our main page, the Get Started button is a link to various tutorials on how to use the website and all that it has to offer. These videos will walk you through the steps in managing your profile and using the resources on the site.

If you are receiving this email newsletter you are probably already a member of the Chateaugay Lakes Association so click on the Join Us! link and begin using the features of the site. Once you click on the Join Us link you will see information about joining the Association; if you haven't paid your dues please do so by sending a check to the address listed, if you have paid your dues you can add your information (username, password, email, etc). Once you have signed in you will be able to add and edit your information (including the ability to set your profile to private) and connect with other lake members.

We are currently in the process of adding more information and resources to our website so continue to check back and stay connected with Chateaugay Lake.   We welcome your suggestions and feedback!

2012 Summer Events

Thank you to all who attended our events and fundraisers through the summer. The annual Breakfast at Camp Chateaugay was again a huge success with over 300 people and we had a beautiful day on the 4th of July for the Boat Parade with a total of 36 boats; thank you for sharing in the festivities whether on your boat or on the beach.  Our annual meeting in July was held at the Chateaugay Town Hall Theater and included an update from Mary Johnson about the work of the Chateaugay Lake Foundation and an update from Jim Johnson, the current chairman of the Water Level Control District Board.  And, although attendance was low at our Block Party on July 7th this year we thank those who attended and supported the Association. We will be hosting some new events next year . . . with more details in the spring. Thank you for your support!
