Sunday, July 2  Worship 10:00 am

"You are Seen. You are Known.
You are Loved." SARK
Where do we seek God's love when we feel like the world has abandoned us? Join us for outdoor worship this Sunday, as we continue our exploration in Genesis with the story of Hagar and Ishmael in Genesis chapter 21.

Melanie Marsh Baum's Sermon is entitled "The God Who Sees Me."  The scriptures are Genesis 21:9-15 and Isaiah 43:1-7. Our Lay Worship Leader is Jennifer Conner.

Bulletins are posted at CovenantWeb.org/read/listen
where you can also read or listen to sermons.

Outdoor Summer Worship, Pot Luck, and Work Opportunity
This Sunday, July 2, we will worship and celebrate the Lord's Supper outdoors on the west lawn. After worship you are invited to stay for lunch. Hot dogs will be provided. Bring a side dish to share that can be left on an outside table during worship (chips, fruit, green salad, etc.). Wear your work clothes to worship! Following lunch, the Trustees invite you to help beautify our grounds. Meet in the Narthex following lunch to be part of one of three work teams. We will also be worshiping outdoors on Sundays, August 6 and September 2.
We invite all children to participate in a Time for Young Disciples. This Sunday children will sit with their families today. Children's bulletins are available from the ushers. For those who wish an usher can provide directions to our nursery for infants through children pre-kindergarten age.  Contact Mindy Stewart, Director of Family Ministries, at MStewart@CovenantWeb.org for more information about programs for youth and families.  Click here  for a summer schedule for youth.

Stories from the Book of Genesis  Summer Sermon Series
In the beginning... This summer in worship we will be hearing stories from the book of Genesis. From creation to the extraordinary lives of the forefathers and foremothers of our faith tradition, these stories not only reveal to us who God is, but who we are as God's children, called to faithfully serve God and one another even as we care for the world around us.
