Westchester/Connecticut Chapter Update

Dear Friends,

The New Year is a popular time for many across the globe to make resolutions and for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), that opportunity was not overlooked.Posting on Twitter, the IDF outlined five central resolutions for 2016, with the objective to provide security for the people of Israel as the first.

The past couple of months have not been easy in Israel, which is why your support and involvement has been particularly vital. The bond between the FIDF Family and IDF soldiers is an important source of moral support that helps keep the brave young men and women who serve, optimistic - even in times of peril.

FIDF vision is to be the leading organization creating a better everyday life and brighter future for the soldiers of the IDF. As such, we invite you us at the NY National Dinner, chaired by Peter Weintraub, on Tuesday, March 15th. Join us in support of the IDF soldiers. Click here for more information.

Since the establishment of FIDF in 1981, we offer educational, cultural, recreational and social welfare programs that provide hope, purpose, and life-changing support for the soldiers who protect Israel and Jews worldwide.  This is not necessarily our New Year resolution for the soldiers - this is our mission to fulfill for years to come.

Shabbat Shalom,
Anat Chavkin,
Director, Westchester and CT
