Sigh. Yes, it is time for another issue of The Nugget. How dreary. You'd think that between petting me, feeding me, turning on the fire when I give "the stare," and shopping for outfits humans would have enough to do. Apparently, some still have the time and need to read The Nugget. Whatever.

Accordingly, I got up from one of my favorite indoor winter nap spots with a good window view in case rats or birds go by, sat in the Editor's Chair, and instructed my human to get on with it. If you're not pleased with the result, do let me know. I'll punish my human by walking on the convertible top of his Porsche. That does just drive him BATTY!

As many of you know, I've been active in GGR in many capacities over the years, including: track chair, secretary, webmaster, vice president and PCA club race registrar. I presently campaign a Spec Boxster at PCA club races. I am honored to now have the privilege as serving as club president. Thank you for your votes and the vote of confidence that came with them.

My aims are simply, as with my race car (1) to keep everything at the club running smoothly and the shiny side up (staying on the most paved portions of the track!), and (2) to have fun putting on and participating in great events with my many friends at GGR and make new friends along the way. Feel free to come up and say hi the next time you see me at an event.
