QUICK LINKS

For spring, I like a fresh look that's a little traditional American, a little French country, and shines at either a picnic or an evening opera al fresco on the esplanade.

Thankfully, my Paris design team was up to the challenge with this simple cape paired with a white silk wrap. Perfect also in a Porsche with the top down, though then I would also need Chanel sunglasses and a foulard mode!

Hope you're likewise enjoying your spring!

Opening for Secretary!

We would first of all like to thank Cheryl Klein for the time she served as GGR Corporate Secretary, a Board of Directors Position. We also appreciate very much that, when job responsibilities precluded her from continuing, she let us know in a prompt and professional manner.

That side, we have an opening!

The Secretary is a full, voting board position, participating in board meetings and discussions and voting on all important club matters. The duties are taking minutes at monthly board meetings and officiating in annual Board of Directors elections for open positions. There is abundant help and guidance for easing into both of these duties.

This is a great way to get more involved in the club and learn about what it takes to put on the club's many events. As much as we appreciate the members who renew and participate in the club, we appreciate even more those who help to run the club and put on events!

Plus you are sure to be invited to the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner!

If you're interested or would like more information, please email me!

(Note: bribes and kickbacks are not required, but are highly appreciated. ;)

Future Porsche Owner Recruited

Membership Director Capt. USN Ret. Michael Sherman is forever busy recruiting new club members. We give Capt. Mike abundant kudos for the incredible membership growth he's nurtured at GGR, and for the fact that he only recruits humans as opposed to the unlimited varieties of flora and fauna who seem to be joining "Upper Canada."

( I don't even know what an "Upper Canada" is.--Ed.)

Taking the long, strategic view, Capt. Mike recognizes that grooming  new members can and should begin shortly after birth. Here he is introducing his grandson, Henry J., to the joys of owning one of the Wonders from Weissach.

They began with the early upside-down bathtubs, then moved on to the race cars.

No doubt later topics will include "affording one," to be tackled in conjunction with "having a career."

Thanks for reading! Have your human take their Porsche out and drive it!
