This time of year is full swing for formal evening garden parties. Weddings, galas, Roaring Twenties parties--we love them all!

Of course, this presents somewhat of a challenge to wear haute couture in an outdoor setting where temperatures vary. Here I am in one of the many outfits I have been ordering from Paris, this one in silk organza. Perfectly comfortable and boasting an elegant drape on warm days. For cooler evenings, I am of course utterly fine but humans can supplement with an ersatz fur wrap. A few sumptuous diamond pieces (not too dangly to catch on things) and you are set to go!

Proposal to Change Competition Rules for DE

Over the past few years PCA GGR has eliminated the Time Trial Series and instead concentrated on HPDE (High Performance Driver's Education). GGR 50th Anniversary Celebration Gallery Online

In 2010, GGR celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding--making it one of the oldest regional clubs in PCA. It was a three-day celebration: kicking off with an autocross and gourmet barbecue at Alameda, then a formal evening Presidents' Dinner gala with live entertainment at the historic City Club of San Francisco, then concluding with an Island Getaway at historic Nimitz Mansion on Yerba Buena Island.

The first gallery of images for the City Club event is on the GGR web site. Click the title above or image below to view. More to come!
