Governor Cuomo and New York State Legislature Extend Film Tax Credit Program through 2022 


Film industry leaders across the country are applauding Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the State Legislature for enacting a three-year extension of the New York State Film Tax Credit program at the existing funding level of $420 million a year, through 2022. 
Governor Cuomo Addresses Opening Night Audience of Tribeca Film Festival

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo launched the 16th Annual Tribeca Film Festival on April 19 with opening remarks at Radio City Music Hall that credited the festival's role in fostering diversity and creativity.

Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul Visits Silvercup Studios

Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul toured Silvercup Studio's East Lot in Long Island City on April 12 to see firsthand the jobs generated by film and television production in New York State.
