Beehive on TV
Exciting news from Bee Hive Taylor Ranch; "we are all movie stars". Last week was an exciting time for all the residents and staff, as KOB TVChannel 4 News station came out to shoot a story for the TV Show "Good Day New Mexico". This story will air sometime in March. We will be sure to let all our family members know the date and time. Residents were filmed doing

daily activities like, exercise and games. Several resident bed rooms were filmed during the shot. Residents informed me they felt proud to call Bee Hive their home and said they were glad we wanted them to be a big part of this story. Even Miss Peppie made her debut.

Ralph's Auto Center & Mary Ann's Garden Tips

Ralph's Auto Corner: by Ralph Fraiser,

Well our weather has warmed up a little, although here in Albuquerque you do not have to worry as much about cold starting cars as you would if you lived in the Mid West. Often their car will not start in the cold weather if not plugged in. The best advice for Albuquerque if you do not have a garage to put your car in at night, at least take the time to cover all the windows, this will prevent you from scraping in the mornings.  Don't try driving while your windows defrost, this is a danger. Do not leave home until all windows are completely cleared of frost or thin ice.

HAPPY TRAVELS AND DRIVE SAFE

  Garden Tips by Mary Ann:

Little Humor in Garden tips this month.

Patti Nathan of Michigan writes:

Planting dessert:

She and her granddaughters planted rhubarb in our yard for the first time last spring.  As we were planting I told the grandchildren what this would grow to be. Our granddaughter Kaylee age 5 noticed that the plants were growing and said, "Grandma, your pies are coming up"!

Our inside plants have done very well this winter, you should all stop by and see how nice our geranium's, that we brought in last fall, are doing. They have bloomed all winter long and look so healthy. It will not be to long now before we can start thinking of garden and flower beds.  Start looking at the seed catalogs.
Poem or Thought of the Month
Beehive Valentines Thoughts

Valentine's memories from residents: Kay loved to dance so she always knew her husband would bring her flowers then take her out for dinner and dancing.

Olive , Oh I always received a dozen Roses from my dear Husband.

Anita loved to go our for dinner and always got flowers.

Bob, I gave my wife a box of candy.

Mary Ann said oh that was the busiest time of the year for me in my flower shop I worked late it seemed like it would never come to an end.. funny I still love flowers haha.

Eileen liked to get flowers and candy.

Every one remembered the Valentine Boxes" we all would make our Valentine BOX for school, then usually the teacher would judge the best box, but the fun was opening our box at the end of the day to see who gave us a valentine, "If we were lucky you would get one form the boy you liked.

Do Not forget your loved one on Valentine's Day, with a nice home made card showing all the love you have for them... ooxxxooxoxoxox
