IUGB HOSTED ITS THIRD CAREER DAY: GET INTO THE PROFESSIONAL WORLD
Our IUGB colleagues have also been very busy. On Saturday December 2, 2017, IUGB hosted its third Career Day "Get into the Professional World 3" on its Grand-Bassam campus. About 250 attendees participated, including corporate representatives, students, parents, faculty and administration. The program was designed to connect students with local businesses and the local job market. The Career Day also provided companies detailed information about IUGB's academic programs, student development opportunities, and graduate profiles.

The parents received additional information on the U.S. higher education model followed by IUGB and on the services offered to students. After the Q&A session hosted by IUGB Deans and faculty with parents and company representatives and individual students/company representative conversations, some students secured internships or job possibilities.

Thirteen (13) companies/institutions participated in the event: Nestlé, Jighi, Novojob, GT Bank, Ecobank, N'Sia Banque, Caisse Nationale d'Assurance Maladie, Société Ivoirienne de Technologie Tropicale, General Electric, PKD Conseil, Côte d'Ivoire Tourisme, Air Côte d'ivoire, and Générale de Produits Agricoles.
