New Five-Year Strategic Plan

In the summer of 2010 the Jackson Hole Land Trust board and staff embarked on a strategic planning process to envision how to best respond to open space protection in the valley and ensure the organization has the capacity to accomplish new projects and fulfill its land stewardship responsibilities. Please click here for a full description of the five-year strategic plan's goals.

Featured Easement: Parker Property

On August 14th the Jackson Hole Land Trust will host its annual community picnic on Jon and Biba Parker's property on South Park Loop Road. The Parkers protected their entire 42-acre property with a donated conservation easement in 1996. This is an important easement in the South Park area because of its tremendous scenic value atop the highly visible Huffsmith Hill. Additionally, the property is adjacent to the Snake River riparian zone, which is designated as crucial moose and trumpeter swan habitat. We hope that you will all come experience the magnificent views that this easement provides of the surrounding valley at our annual picnic!
