Introducing Knoxville's Newest Public Art
Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) will soon be unveiling a new work of public art by artist Bob Emser in the vestibule of Knoxville Station Transit Center,
301 Church Avenue.
The KMA will host a lecture by the artist on Monday, February 20 at 3:30pm. The lecture will be followed by a shuttle to Knoxville Station to view the finished piece. A return shuttle will arrive at the KMA around 5pm. The event is free and open to the public.
Bob Emser is an internationally recognized and lauded sculptor, with exhibits on four continents, seven countries, and 29 states in the U.S. His extensive body of work can be seen in cities and municipalities, sculpture parks, museums, and institutions of higher learning.
