Need a lively drop-in activity for the kids this winter? Join us for Winter Discovery Days, a free afternoon program for children and their families. Join the fun with games, crafts, artifacts, and stories, featuring a different theme and corresponding take-home crafts every week!
Extended hours will be offered during school vacation week, February 27 - March 3, 2017, from 1 to 5 P.M.
Entrance to the program is through the Discovery Room door on Broad Street. The Winter Discovery Days program is free to all children and their families. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No reservations required.

NHA Quaker Meeting House Update
|
|
The NHA is the recipient of a grant from the Nantucket Community Preservation Committee (CPC) to make repairs to the Quaker Meeting House historic property. Work includes the rehabilitation of fourteen windows, fabrication of storm windows, wall repairs, painting, and structural repair to the balcony and main floor of the building. The restoration project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2017.
 Contractors on board include Moore Woodworking, Jeff Carr Plastering, Dean Miller Painting, and Structures North Consulting Engineers, Inc. The NHA is also fortunate to have the in-kind support of Toscana Corporation, who are providing a steel beam to be placed in the floor of the balcony for reinforcement of the structure.
