Dear Friends,

The warm weather uniform is back and the fourth quarter is underway. As temperatures rise and thoughts start to turn to summer vacation, let us not forget how we will be affected by that icy winter weather.

Over the winter months we were forced to take four snow days, as a result of those days our last day of school will be Tuesday, June 13. Additionally, June 6 was originally scheduled to be a day off for staff professional development, but will now be an 11:15 AM early dismissal day.  This will serve as the first of our four snow day make-up days.

Please refer to the list below for adjustments to our original calendar to accommodate make-up days and other important end of the year events.

Snow Make-Up Days
Tuesday, June 6 - 11:15 AM early dismissal (no after care)

Friday, June 9 - Full Day

Monday, June 12 - Full Day

Tuesday, June 13 - 11:15 Am early dismissal - Last Day of School

Important Upcoming Dates

May 19 - Student Art Show - 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

May 23-25 - Grade 8 Final Exams

May 26 - Field Day - Grades K-8

June 2 - Violin and Band Concert - 1:30 PM

June 6 - PreK 3/4 Graduation - 9:00 AM

June 6 - Kindergarten Graduation - 10:00 AM

June 7-9 - Grades 6 & 7 Final Exams

More information about these events will be forthcoming in the near future. I encourage parents, families, and friends to attend and help with these fun celebrations of our students.

Many Blessings,

Steven J. Santoli
