It's Family Friendly Fall at the Neville! BEES!, an interactive family-friendly exhibit about the secret lives of bees and the impact they have on our lives opens on September 1st! You can also bring your family to Bay Shore Park to be an archaeologist for the day at Parkaeology: Rockwood Lodge or learn how to make delicious natural soda in the upcoming Neville Soda Series!

Help us celebrate our newest exhibit, Bees! Participate in make-and-take bee activities and see some real bees in action with the Brown County Beekeeping Association

The UW Extension Master Gardeners will also be on hand to talk about growing bee-friendly gardens.

Unlock the secret lives of bees and explore how these tiny insects have a big impact on your life. Bees are more than buzzing bugs that sting; they play a dynamic role in the environment and our agriculture. Adventure into the hive to discover how bees live and work and why threats to them impact you. 
Dinner Program: The Tastes of the Viking Age

Join Daniel Serra, Viking food and culture expert, as he explains The Tastes of the Viking Age – what one ate and how it tasted.

Each Dinner event will begin with a dinner at 5:00 p.m. in the Neville classrooms followed by a program at 6:00 p.m. in the theater. 

We can't believe it's already our 20th Anniversary Season! Programs are open for registration online, in person, and by mail.

Become an archaeologist for the day, join the Brown County Parks Department and the Neville Public Museum for a fun morning of Parkaeology at Bay Shore Park! 






Did you know that the Green Bay Packers held their training camps during the late 1940s at what is now Bay Shore Park? Known as Rockwood Lodge, it was possibly the first self-contained team training facility in NFL history!

The program includes: 

* Presentation on the park’s history and connection to the Packers.
* Hands-on archaeological discovery to locate fragments of the former training facility.

Pre-registration is required by calling the Brown County Parks Office at (920) 448-6242.
