Health Plans Sending Provider Performance Reports in March

Over the past year, the Governor's Office of Health Transformation (OHT) has been working with payors, plans, providers, and patient advocates to set a new course in Ohio toward value-based payment models for primary care and high-cost episodes of care. In March, Ohio's largest health insurance plans (Anthem, Medical Mutual, United, CareSource, Buckeye, Molina and Paramount) will begin sending reports to the proivders who are principally accountable for six episodes of care. Earlier today, OHT hosted a Webinar to describe the process that was used to develop the reports, what the reports contain, and how payment will relate to performance in the future.
