Governors support bipartisan reform
Ohio Governor John R. Kasich joined nine other governors in a letter to encourage Congress not to consider the Graham-Cassidy-Heller-Johnson amendment and renew support for bipartisan efforts to make health care more available and affordable for all Americans. The Graham-Cassidy amendment would jeopardize coverage for 500,000 Ohioans by ending the Medicaid expansion and reduce federal funding for traditional Medicaid services that benefit Ohio's children, seniors, and people with disabilities.
