Opportunity Tour

Be a part of our first Opportunity Tour! Get a close-up and personal look into one of Pierce County's most fascinating operations - Tindall Enterprises, Inc. 

 

Merrill Tindall, President; Donna Tindall, Vice President; and Jon Tindall, Director of Operations invite you to a behind-the-scenes tour of their laboratory.

 

This exclusive event will be Wednesday, June 18, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is open to the first 20 members to register with the Chamber.

Tindall Enterprises, Inc. is a privately-owned corporation that has provided environmental services to South Georgia since 1987. Their professionals have diverse backgrounds in all areas of environmental management, laboratory analysis, and property assessments.

 

The Tindall team includes state-certified water and wastewater operators, certified environmental managers, registered environmental assessors, and state-certified laboratory analysts, all with years of experience and expertise.

Get Involved

We are confident the Pierce County Chamber delivers results! Get involved, and you will surely see a difference. Your membership is best leveraged when you participate and have a presence within the Chamber. We offer a wide variety of ways for you to be engaged. Opportunities range from advertising and sponsorships to joining or leading a committee.

 

Every committee is comprised of Chamber member volunteers who want to give back to the community and gain exposure in the marketplace. As we plan an exciting calendar of networking and business opportunities, we encourage you and your employees to join one of our committees. Based upon your interests and schedule, be active on as many committees as you like!

Education Committee - The Education Committee examines all facets of education focusing on specific education issues for Pierce County schools. The committee supports all Chamber education events. (e.g. PCHS Student Advisory Council) 

 

Governmental Affairs Committee - The Governmental Affairs Committee is committed to reviewing issues that affect the economic environment and social progress of our member businesses. The committee will disseminate information and host programs to educate members regarding public policy and legislative issues. (e.g. D.O.T. Bypass Meeting)

 

Marketing and Communications Committee - The goal of this committee is to identify the Chamber's marketing functions and improve the communication products to better serve the needs of the membership. (e.g. new chamber member-integrated website)

 

Programs and Events Committee - The Programs and Events Committee exists to create opportunities for Chamber membership to interact, network, and build relationships throughout the community.  Additionally, the programs and events are designed to increase  Chamber visibility and involvement in the community. (e.g. Spirit of Liberty) 

 

Membership Outreach Committee - This committee is the link between the Chamber and its members. The committee identifies member concerns and challenges and takes action to remedy the situations. The committee supports continuing education and networking opportunities for members and creates new programs and activities that can be tailored to the needs of individual members. (e.g. Lunch & Learn Series)

Meet the Chamber Directors
Chris Sinclair is the secretary/treasurer of the Pierce County Chamber of Commerce. He is married to Amanda Davis Sinclair, and they have two beautiful and talented daughters, Bayleigh and Belle.

Chris, who is an Assistant Vice President at PrimeSouth Bank in Blackshear, enjoys hunting and coaching softball. He is an active member of First Baptist Church.

The commitment and loyalty Chris has shown to the Chamber over the last several years are commendable. He has worked with city and county elected officials and community leaders to strengthen relationships within the business community. Chris, we appreciate your dedication!

After Hours

Eagle Station and the City of Patterson hosted a wonderful Business After Hours on May 15. Approximately 70 folks enjoyed touring the facilities,learning about upcoming events, and networking with other business and community leaders. George Denison, Mayor of Patterson, Ray Cunningham, Director

of Eagle Station and the members of the Eagle Station Board were gracious and enthusiastic hosts.

Business After Hours: The Chamber's most popular networking event, this non-structured evening occasion provides the perfect opportunity for members to showcase their facility, programs, products and services while networking face-to-face with business professionals and owners. 

 

Opportunity Tours:

In order for business and community leaders to better represent and promote local business and industry, these tours give participants an opportunity to learn more about the incredible products and services being offered right in our backyard.  

 

Lunch & Learn Series: Designed to meet specific needs of our members and their employees, Lunch & Learn educational seminars are offered in conjunction with Okefenokee Technical College. Typically held from 11:30-1:30, these beneficial courses will include quality instruction, relevant training, class materials, and lunch for a nominal charge.
