Corridor H Highway Reaches the Top of our Mountains!
Corridor H (48) is open to the turbines at Mt. Storm!

Fiddle Family -

Just a few quick notes

It is so fast and easy it is to get here from the east now that our new highway (48) just opened to the top of the mountains near Mt. Storm power plant. Coming from I-81 (via 55) it dumps you right out onto 93 West, just 17 miles from Davis. What it means is that now there are no more curvy mountain two-lanes roads between us and Washington DC, northern Virginia, and other place southeast of here (Richmond, Charlottesville, Roanoke). Amazingly easy! And I can tell you from personal experience that what it saves that is just as valuable as time, is gas and wear-and-tear on brakes.

Secondly, we have 13 straight days of music for the holidays, starting Friday! And please make note of the last minute show booked fror Christmas Night with our good friend of the Black Lillies, Cruz Contreras, and two other musical buddies of his. Amazing music coming up - Yarn, Funk Ark, Big Legg Emma, and then Dangermuffin returns in January!

Last minute Christmas Gifts - call now and get a Purple Fiddle t-shirt, hat or mug shipped to you pronto! Or even simpler, buy a Purple Fiddle gift certificate.

Come visit soon... ALL the ski resorts are open early, including White Grass! Awesome!

Happy Holidays!
