This year, RCF has invested in new technology to facilitate our scholarship application process and allow all applications to be completed online. With almost $70,000 in available money, we hope you'll help spread the word for students and people going back to school who could use some help. They only have to visit our website to see what we have to offer.
While we have several 'general' scholarships, a number of our scholarship funds are focused in specific areas:
  • women
  •  communications
  • marketing
  • education
  • engineering
  • learning disabled students
  • graduate students
  • technical college students

Send interested parties to our website at:

Plans are being finalized for our upcoming CELEBRATE! The Love of Community event on February 15, 2018, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Approximately $170,000 in community grants will be awarded from Circle of Giving, The Next Curve and the First Financial Northwest Foundation Fund. Guests will have the privilege of 'voting' on who will split $5,000 in transportation grants made available from the Paul Padgett Fund.
Miles From Chicago will once again entertain guests with their toe-tapping music. Attendees will be treated to four inspirational stories about how grant money has impacted lives, and our 2017 League of Extraordinary Givers award winners will be celebrated for their dedication to the field of philanthropy.
This event has sold out all three years. With ticket prices at only $25 (includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, beverage and dessert), you'd best get your tickets now. DON'T MISS OUT. Just go to Brown Paper Tickets by clicking here:

Wikipedia's definition of a cornerstone is:
"The cornerstone (or foundation stone) is the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation, important since all other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the position (and strength) of the entire structure."
This is why RCF named its annual giving club - Cornerstone. Anyone giving $100 or more to support foundation operations will have their name listed as a member for one year.
Cornerstone gifts are the backbone of what we do. Our donors believe in the community foundation concept and choose to support foundation program and services, such as our educational programs, networking opportunities, nonprofit support, and efforts to engage new donors for the benefit of all.
If you'd like to see our list of Cornerstone champions, please visit our website and click on 'Community'. If you'd like to join Cornerstone with  a contribution of your own, you can either make a gift online (by going to our website) or by sending a check designated to Cornerstone.
