ACU Welcomes Director of Workforce Development

We are happy to announce that Suzanne Speer has joined the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved as Director of Workforce Development! Suzanne comes to us from the Virginia Community Healthcare Association where she served as Clinical Recruitment Services Specialist, recruiting for health centers for over four years. As part of her role with ACU, Suzanne will be joining the STAR² Center team to bring her years of recruitment knowledge to our resources, training, and technical assistance. We hope you will join us in welcoming Suzanne to the team!
With the support of HRSA's Bureau of Primary Health Care, the  STAR² Center  is fielding a short assessment to gather information on health centers' current experiences with health professions training activities in order to identify potential areas for resources, training, and technical assistance.

This assessment takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and should be completed by all health centers regardless of whether or not they are currently training health professions students or residents.

Please share this with health center workforce staff to  complete the assessment online by September 22, 2017. You can preview the questions prior to completing the assessment by   clicking here. We hope to hear from you soon!
The STAR² Center were excited to receive so much interest in our pilot Recruitment Bootcamp! We notified our accepted cohort via email ahead of our first webinar that will be held on September 20. Be sure to check your inbox later this week for your welcome packet. We look forward to working with this first cohort soon and expanding our services to welcome more health centers to this opportunity in the future!
