WA Turns 25

The Wallcoverings Association celebrates its Silver Anniversary in 2016. Look for more design and sustainability videos, CEUs and educational programming to celebrate the organization's 25th birthday. The Wallcoverings Association was formed in 1991 when the Wallcovering Wholesalers Association merged with the Wallcovering Manufacturers Association. Contact
Visions of Beauty

Colour & Design is pleased to introduce a sleek, new proprietary embossing, Alotian. This mid-scale design features intricately laid diamond shapes varying in size to create a subtle vertical stripe. The dimensional look blends aesthetics and design to create a space of perfect harmony. Twenty-four luxurious colourways include three metal-influenced mylars.
 



Altered Geometry


Tabular by Source One Exclusive is a deconstructed textile look inspired by small pieces of woven fabric that were cut apart and put back together to create a different geometry. The 54" wallcovering is available in 15 colors.

Rothschild Wins Award

The Wallcoverings Association
will present the Allman Award, its highest honor, to Al Rothschild, President of MDC Wallcoverings, on Feb. 1 at the WA's Annual Meeting. Rothschild and his staff have consistently supported the wallcoverings industry over the last 50 years by serving on the WA board and committees and by participating in the development of the NSF 342 standard and educational initiatives. 
HPDs Published

Len-Tex is committed to full transparency and has published a Health Product Declaration for its wallcovering. An HPD provides a standard format for reporting material contents of building products and the health effects associated with these materials. The Len-Tex HPD includes a full chemical disclosure of components down to 1000 ppm and allows eligibility for LEEDv4 MR credit (Material Ingredients Reporting). Contact 
 



Look for NSF Certification 

The NSF/ANSI 342 Sustainability Standard helps specifiers and buyers identify environmentally preferable wallcoverings.Over 900 wallcovering styles have been certified, providing a wide selection of sustainable wallcoverings.   Look for the NSF 342 certification on wallcoverings made of textiles, vinyl, polymers, paper and other fibers.   Contact
