DAY CAMPS AND SUMMER SCHOOL AGE CARE

SPRING DANCE RECITAL

The Y Dance Recitals are coming up on Saturday, May 13th at the Heider Center for the Arts in West Salem.

We are seeking some wonderful volunteers to help with our da ncers backstage and also with the food drive we are doing in conjunction with our event.

If you would be able to help, we have 3 shift times. If anyone wants to do more than 1 shift, we will feed you too!

WOOD FLOOR RE-FINISHING

Every year our wood floors need to be refinished to protect and maintain the wood. Thank you for your understanding of the closures during this time.

DAHL FLOORS REFINISHED

Areas will be closed beginning Friday, May 19th at 5:00 am through Sunday, May 21st at 6:30pm:

Gymnasium
2nd floor multipurpose room C (former fitness studio)
New fitness studio
Racquetball courts A & B

Spaces will reopen on Monday, May 22nd at 5:00 am.

HOUSER FLOORS REFINISHED

Areas will be closed beginning Friday, May 26th at 5:00 am through Monday, May 29th (Memorial Day):

COMMUNITY FOOD FOREST at the Y

Partnership with 7 Rivers Region High School

Students from 7 Rivers High School are spending their P.E. class learning and growing in the food forest. Yoga, education and working the dirt are "all inclusive" invitations for youth to move more.

The Community Food Forest at the Y is for YOU! For more information on the Food Forest and how to get involved please contact Jill M. Miller, Pioneering Healthier Communities Coordinator, at [email protected].

FREE Food Forest 101 Workshop+ on Saturday, May 13th, 10:00 - noon, Dahl Y in La Crosse. Contact Jill for more information.

Do your part to reduce childhood hunger! Really your family, peers, or social groups to get involved in the cause!

Help serve meals throughout the summer. You can serve one meal a week or serve every day, whatever works best for your schedule.

GIVE BACK THIS SUMMER

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
at the Got Energy Triathlon

We are looking for volunteers to help with the 14th Annual Got Energy Triathlon. Help is needed on the run and bike course, directing participants where to go, handing cups of water at aid stations and cleaning up the park after the event is done. All volunteers receive a free shirt and you can volunteer individually or as a group. Click here to volunteer.
