Weekly News & Updates
Hello Highland Park!

Welcome to your weekly HHPNC newsletter. We had an awesome turn out at the recent CD1 Candidate Forum, hosted by the Glassel Park Improvement Association. It is so important for the candidates to see voter engagement. Thank you to everyone who showed up, and I hope you learned more about the candidates.

If you missed the forum, don’t worry! We have a Live Streaming Facebook Forum, where the candidates will again be debating live! It is happening this Thursday at 7:00 on our official HHPNC Facebook page. All you have to do is tune into Facebook and watch. If you know anyone who wants to learn more about the candidates, you can even share the live stream on your own wall, a friend’s wall, or a group that may be interested in spreading this broadcast. We hope to leverage this incredible technology to reach thousands of people in our community and our district with this live broadcast. That is more possible if you engage and help share and spread the word, and the live stream.

We also have a handful of committee meetings coming up this Tuesday and Thursday. Read on to learn more about all of this and more stuff happening in our wonderful corner of Los Angeles. See you out in the neighborhood!

Peace,
Harvey Slater
