Community Input on the LAPD’s Video Policy

What should happen if a police officer’s body-worn camera records an officer-involved shooting or other serious use of force incident? Should the video be made public? And if so, when?

    NPG for Franklin's Robotics Team
We are happy to announce that HHPNC was able to approve a Neighborhood Purpose Grant in the amount of $1500 to assist the Franklin Robotics Team, the Robo-Nerds, with the fees to attend a local robotics competition. If you are also interested in donating to the team's efforts, they have set up a GoFundMe campaign:   https://www.gofundme.com/franklin-robotics-2017-competition  .

Save the Date!  LAFD Fire Service Day 2017 - Citywide Open House
SATURDAY, MAY 13, 2017

On Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM all Neighborhood Fire Stations in the City of Los Angeles will be expecting your visit during our annual open firehouse celebration.

Along with personal tours of Neighborhood Fire Stations, special displays are planned at locations across the City. Final preparations are also underway for pancake breakfast events at select fire stations. Those sites will be announced here soon!  Read More
