Footsteps: Foundations of Hope
Footsteps_ Spring Campaign

This spring, Central Asia Institute is raising funds  to construct boundary walls around some of our most vulnerable schools, and provide tent schools to nomad and refugee communities.

We hope you'll enjoy the stories found in Footsteps: Foundations of Hope. Excerpts can be found below, but don't miss out on all the details. Be sure to order a free hard copy or read the stories online.

Women's History Month
International Womens Day

March is Women's History Month. It's a time to reflect on the women who fought to earn the right to vote, to achieve advanced degrees, and to pursue any vocation we choose.

Central Asia Institute has gone from supporting a single school built in Korphe, Pakistan, to now 20 years later proudly saying we have helped build 190 schools in three different countries. CAI has expanded into other areas too, initiating over 200 other community, health, and educational programs, with more to come.
Empower Kids With P4P
piggy bank
"I love that my kids can donate just a few dollars from their piggy banks, which is a lot of money for them, and know that they are making a difference for children in other countries who are less fortunate. They feel empowered. P4P is a great way to introduce kids to philanthropy!"

- Jennifer, P4P mom in Colorado

New Ways To Donate
Donor-advised
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable account offered by sponsors such as financial institutions, community foundations, universities, and fraternal or religious organizations. Philanthropists who itemize deductions on their federal income tax returns can write off DAF contributions in the year they are made and receive an immediate tax deduction for the full market value of most assets.

Check out the Donor-Advised section on our website  to help accommodate this growing trend.

Central Asia Institute
OUR VISION:

Central Asia Institute (CAI) works with communities in remote areas of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Tajikistan, to promote education, especially for girls. At home and abroad, CAI is committed to sharing its expert knowledge with the public.  Together we can cultivate peace, nurture hope, and change the world, one child at a time.
