Another all-star Encore Louisville class for 2017
Now beginning its third year, the Encore Louisville program, sponsored by Northwestern Mutual, is believed to be the first of its kind among leadership programs in the U.S. Designed to give community trustees an encore, the program connects retired or retiring leaders in an advisory capacity with local nonprofit organizations in need of their experience, wisdom, and strategic vision.
Bet you already know some of the 48 civic leaders who recently invested 2 1/2 days in Focus Louisville. This group took a remarkable behind-the-scenes look at what makes Louisville tick, and discovered the multitude of ways they can each contribute their talents to making our city better for everyone.
