Happy Friday everyone!  Parents, please do not forget to get your tickets next week for the Siani Strong Gala. The first 30 parents to purchase from the BT Business Office will receive a free ticket for their senior student(s).  Contact me to get your tickets. All tickets must be purchased by next Tuesday, January 30, 2018.  

Also don't forget to bring your friends, neighbors, and family to the Falcon Parent & Community University that could save you money on your energy bill. This program is open to everyone in the community. Please spread the word. With the cold weather we have been having, I am sure that everyone is looking to save money.  Remember winter is far from over. Register today for this money-saving FPCU!

Don't forget that all schools will be operating on an early dismissal schedule Friday, January 26.  Finally, please be sure to read this Falcon Flyer regarding the impact of the snow days, which was also in the last newsletter.

Modified Schedule Reminder
 
  
All schools will be operating on an early dismissal schedule on Friday, January 26, 2018 for teacher in-service.


High School Exam Schedule
 BTHS students are preparing for final exams.

Please note that students in the High School will be taking exams on:

January 30th, 31st & February 1st
The High School will operate on a modified schedule all 3 days.
February 2nd - Early Dismissal (HS Only) due to semester change

Please read this letter  for detailed information about the High School's exam schedule and Attendance Policy.

Siani Strong Gala
...A Night of Hope

The Siani Strong Gala...A Night of Hope will be on Feb. 3 at the Mansion in Voorhees. The class of 2018 will be honored and celebrated this year. Generous donators are sponsoring 30 High School seniors who wish to attend.  The first 30 parents who purchase tickets will receive a complimentary ticket for their High School senior.  

TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BY 
TUESDAY, JANUARY 30, 2018

Please contact Mrs. Scott ([email protected])   and Mrs. Hayes ( [email protected]  ) in the Human Resources office to purchase your tickets or call 387-3955 ext. 2053. Checks must be made payable to Siani Strong Foundation.  Tickets are $50.

2017-2018 Calendar Update



Please note that due to the snow days on Jan. 4th & 5th, the calendar will be updated to:

1. End of Marking Period 2 and Semester 1 will be changed to Feb. 1
2. End of Trimester 2 will be changed to Mar. 19
3. End of Marking Period 3 will be changed to Apr. 17
4. Report cards:
                          Young School - Mar. 26 & Jun. 21
                          FWS, MS, & HS - Feb. 8, Apr. 24, & Jun. 21
5. Half Day for High School (ONLY) changed to Jan. 30-31 & 
    Feb. 1-2; Full Day on Jan. 29

 Also please note, that schools will be 
open on Thursday, May 24th & Tuesday, May 29th.

The 17-18 calendar will be readopted at the January Board of Education meeting  based on the current snow days.  The revised calendar will be posted after the Board meeting.
