A Special Letter to Our Community

The week of April 23-April 29, 2017 has been declared National Volunteer Week. During this week, we are reminded how much our schools and community benefit from our many volunteers.  We would like to thank all of our volunteers for their dedication to our students.  

REMINDER!!!!!
We encourage our parents to remind their children about the importance of wearing their seat belts when riding our school buses. The District values your child(ren)'s safety and ask that our parents remember to consistently have conversations about safety measures for riding the school bus in the morning and afternoon. 



SEPAG Meeting
Meet and Greet the New Assistant Superintendent for Special Education

The meeting will focus on a progress update of district initiatives from this school year related to special education and interventions and a review of  SEPAG 's topics for this past year and discussion regarding ideas for  SEPAG  meetings for the 2017-18 school year and plans for continuing district initiatives. 

Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day

The annual "National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day" is on Thursday, 
April 27, 2017. If your child will be participating at your place of employment, his/her absence will be excused on this day. Please note, Burlington Township School District requires a letter on company letterhead to confirm your child's participation on this day. This letter should be submitted to the main office following his/her participation in this event.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child's school main office.
Emergency Services Youth Academy

The Burlington Township Police Department, Endeavor Emergency Squad and the Burlington Township Fire Department are pleased to announce the formation of the Emergency Services Youth Academy Class #1 for children ages 9-13. This academy will be held at the:

July 10-13 from 5:00-9:00 P.M. 

Graduation will be held on July 14, 2017 at the Performing Arts Center at the Burlington Township High School.

Project Freshman F.I.R.S.T.

On Friday, April 28, our 9th graders, will be participating in Project Freshman F.I.R.S.T., which focuses on community service throughout the area.  We also offer volunteer opportunities to our parents to help build the school community. Please read this very important letter.

Rutgers Summer Reading Skills Programs are now available for registration. 

For an enjoyable activity with lifelong benefits, we encourage you to register your child for one of the Rutgers Summer Reading programs. There are programs available to children 4-years old and entering grades K to 12. All programs are taught by professional instructors from the Institute of Reading Development.   Learn more and register your child here.
