As the air turns cooler and fall approaches we are reminded of how seasons change. The warm days of summer are ending, the daylight gets shorter, and the leaves on the tree change from green to the fall colors. Our attention of summer fun turns to fall festivals and the holidays are just around the corner. The change reminds us that time is passing and no season lasts forever. Each season change also reminds us of times past and experiences we have had. For many these experiences bring about an anticipation of things to come. The bottom line is that season change in this world we reside. In making a spiritual application we see our lives are full of seasons. Seasons of good times, seasons of hard times, season of plenty, seasons of need, seasons of health, seasons of sickness, seasons of life, and seasons of death. Life is precious and is to be enjoyed in and through our Lord Jesus-Christ. Unfortunately in this sin cursed world we will experience seasons that challenge us and our faith. Seasons we don't understand and Seasons that make us ask "Where is God?" In our Online Church Services we have addressing the Fear that comes from these seasons of change. In our Daily Devotions we have been walking through the Psalms and David faced some tough seasons. David penned for us his experience and in these seasons he reminds us that "God is Here". Every step we take our Lord is with us. He speaks to us through His Word and Listens and responds to our Prayers. The Lord has a purpose and plan for our tough seasons as He is conforming to the likeness of Jesus-Christ. Paul teaches us to content in all of our seasons of life. From personal experience I have grown closer to the Lord during my difficult seasons. One thing I can testify to is that seasons change. I don't know what season you may be going through but we are reminded in His Word, the Bible, that God is Here, He is Listening and Responding to our Prayers, and He speaking to us through the Pages of the living book we hold, The Bible.
