George Washington Carver is most known for his invention of peanut butter but many don't know he was a Christian. In a message I heard preached several years ago, Mr. Carver came to a point in his life of frustration as an inventor. In this discouraging time of failed attempts to reach His goals he looked at a peanut with a heart of total surrender and prayed ,"Lord, can you just show me this peanut and what you created it for?" From this prayer of humility the Lord showed George the peanut. From his research he created over 100 applications of the peanut inventing everything from peanut butter to jet fuel. The difference in success and failure was his simple humility and dependence in the Lord. In making application we see how the Lord has all the answers to our problems if we simply humble ourselves, call out to Him in prayer, and submit ourselves to His will. How about you? Are you facing problems and obstacles in your life? Let us remember that the Lord has all the answers and we simply humble ourselves, pray, and seek His face - then will he reveal His Will and purpose for our lives.

Your labor is not in vain as I receive mail every day of souls being saved and lives being changed. Let us be encouraged to press to the mark of continuing in the Lord, to do His Will, and His Work in these last days.

The Lord placed on my heart to add the Life Application notes that I send in our daily devotion to our commentary section of our Online Bible. This will make each Chapter of our Online Bible a devotion in itself with a Chapter of Scripture, Matthew Henry Commentary on the Chapter, and now my Life Application Notes all on the same page. I will start this project this month. We are also Launching our Phone Gospel Message that works with the Tracts we had printed. This allows the caller to hear the Gospel Message and Order a Free Bible from our toll free phone number that is on the tract. We are changing our focus from automating our Bible Request Search and Placement with a focus on individual ministry and prayer for each who contact us.  All of our work will take prayer and funding as we make ourselves available to serve the Lord in this Ministry.
