This week, each bag will have two acorn squash, a head of green cabbage, a pair of red bell peppers, a 3 lb bag of Red Norland Potatoes, a bunch of carrots, a half gallon of apple cider & a pint of cherry tomatoes. The Omnivore Shares will all get a pack of Green Onion Brats, and the Vegetarians and Vegans will have some summer squash and *cantaloupe instead (there is a chance the cantaloupe might change-- we will keep you posted on Facebook and at the stops if so.)

The Large Shares will all get some pears, purple beans, lettuce and beets. The Large Omnivores will also have a pork tenderloin and the Large Vegetarians will get an onion or a leek, some cauliflower and white beans instead of the pork.

Fall is here, officially in just a few more days, and with it come all the fall-flavored specials and events-- pumpkin spice, maple, Octoberfests, and pig roasts. Add a new one to the list-- we collaborated with Masthead Brewery to develop a new Smoked Ohio Peach Wit Beer, which will be tapped at their brewhouse tomorrow, Weds, from 3 -10 pm:

"In collaboration with Fresh Fork Market, we aged our Belgian-style Wit over 100 lbs of fresh Ohio peaches smoked with pecan wood. This process adds a touch of sweetness and a smoky character that blends with the Belgian esters, and elevates the orange and lemon peel character...yielding a flavorful, yet elegant beer."
