Serving Berkshire County Since 2008
 Greetings!
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! This is a great week to get back on track with healthy eating.

The organic stone fruit has been excellent so far this season. This week we are featuring BOTH nectarines and peaches on sale (see below)! Grapes and melons have also been very good.

The local produce continues to roll in with more greens, radishes and asparagus but we need more sun to keep things moving along.

Red Butterhead
TOMATOES
Local, Greenhouse grown tomatoes from Fairview Farm in Whately, MA will be with us for a few more weeks.

These tomatoes have a wonderful flavor and pair nicely with local basil and fresh, hand-pulled mozzarella from Maplebrook Farm in Bennington, VT.
kohlrabi
Kohlrabi
Local Kohlrabi appears this week.
Boil them and mash them with potatoes or other root vegetables. Stir-fry them with other vegetables, or julienne them and fry them like potatoes. Look for Indian recipes using kohlrabi as they are often used in Indian cuisine. The leaves are also perfectly edible, and can be cooked up like kale.
