Remember, a crisis is any situation that disrupts a company's operations and undermines the loyalty of its customer base or harms its financial performance. Therefore, shareholder activism represents a significant risk to an enterprise.

Buenaventura Day 2016 - New York City
(NYSE: BVN) -  March 4, 2016
On March 4, 2016, Compañía de Minas Buenaventura hosted a special corporate workshop and breakfast at the New York Palace Hotel, which, featured World Gold Council representatives, including: Alistair Hewitt - Director of Market Intelligence, and Juan Carlos Artigas - Director of Investment Research. These discussed the outlook for gold in 2016. In addition, Chairman and CEO, Roque Benavides and other senior management members conducted presentations followed by a Q&A session.
 
Compañía de Minas Buenaventura S.A.A. is Peru's largest, publicly-traded precious metals company and a major holder of mining rights in Peru. The company is engaged in the mining, processing, development and exploration of gold and silver and other metals via wholly-owned mines, as well as through its participation in joint exploration projects.

Fibra Inn Day - Mexico and Guadalajara
(BMV: FINN13) -  March 3-4, 2016
Fibra Inn Investor Day was held at the Restaurante Los Lagos events space in Mexico City, followed by a tour of 5 of their 6 Guadalajara hotels, including the new Staybridge Suites extended stay hotel,  the only one in the company's portfolio. The event included the presence of over 80 buy-side and sell-side market participants; and featured presentations by Chief Executive Officer- Oscar E. Calvillo, Chief Financial Officer- Miguel Aliaga and Chief of Acquisitions & Development Officer- Fernando Rocha. Among the topics discussed were: the company's long-term vision, development strategy, pipeline and guidance 2016.
 
Fibra Inn is a Mexican trust formed primarily to acquire, develop, operate and rent a broad range of hotel properties in Mexico aimed at the business traveler; which, enjoy some of the industry's top loyalty programs.

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico - Celebrating 10 Years at the NYSE
(NYSE: PAC, BMV: GAP) -  March 7, 2016
Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico celebrated 10 years at the NYSE by hosting its annual Investor Day for sell-side and buy-side analysts in New York City. Presentations and Q&A session were conducted by top management, including an introduction by Chairman, Laura Diez Barroso Azcarraga, several presentations by Chief Executive Officer, Fernando Bosque Mohíno. Topics, ranging from the 2015 financial overview, 2016 guidance and corporate strategy offered the audience a wide perspective of company's current and future position. During the visit, management also met with various investors and key financial media outlets throughout the U.S. 

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V. (GAP) operates 12 airports throughout Mexico's Pacific region, including the major cities of Guadalajara and Tijuana, the four tourist destinations of Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, La Paz and Manzanillo, and six other mid-sized cities: Hermosillo, Guanajuato, Morelia, Aguascalientes, Mexicali and Los Mochis.  In April 2015 GAP acquired 100% of Desarrollo de Concesiones Aeroportuarias, S.L., which owns a majority stake of MJ Airports Limited, a company operating the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Volaris Day - New York City
(NYSE: VLRS, BMV: VOLAR) -  March 15, 2016
Volaris, the Mexican ultra-low-cost airline, hosted an investor luncheon at the NYSE. The company's Chief Executive Officer, Enrique Beltranena, as well as other members of the management team, met with investors and analysts to discuss the company's achievements during its 10 years of operation. Presentations highlighted Volaris' unique business model, its operational and financial results, and provided insight to the passenger air travel environment in the region. The day following the event, Volaris conducted a media tour with a number of financial and aviation media outlets in the U.S.
