By August, the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) announced that the price of diesel would be at 13.98 pesos per liter, an increase of 21 cents from the price that was maintained during the year

By 2020 it is planned that Mexico reach five million units produced, according to the Mexican Association of Automotive Industry(AMIA), which one million 400 thousand units would be moved in domestic traffic and the three million 600 thousand remaining vehicles to international level.

Vehicle production in Mexico in July reached 284,398 cars, which allowed an increase of 11.8% compared to the same period of 2015 when it registered 254,312 units, reported by the Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry


 

 

On the export cars, the indices showed a slight decrease of 0.4 compared to vehicles exported in the same month last year. According to the association, from January to July were sent 1 million 552,893 vehicles, 4.8% less than the level of exports in the same month of 2015...

The wholesales from January to July 2016, registered a 8.1% increase compared to the same period last year, from 19,233 to 20,780 units reported by ANPACT.

  

The growth was impelled by the load segment which recorded a 10.6% increase with 16,437 units sold...

  

 

In January-May of 2016, total trade in the NAFTA Region recorded a value of US$405.7 billion, representing a decrease of 5.1% compared to the previous year's same period


 

Within the North American block, Mexico's trade, along with its partner countries, went from 30.2% of the region's total in January-April of 1993 to 50.8% in the same period of 2016, reflecting the importance of Mexico as a trading partner of Canada and the United States...

Pico de Orizaba: Highest Mountain in Mexico?

 El Pico de Orizaba (known as Citlaltépetl which means Star Mountain) is a striking volcano. From the west it towers over the town of Tlachichuca in the form of a beautiful white cone. The glacier starts around 4900-5000m and covers the upper aspects of the mountain. Pico de Orizaba is the highest mountain in Mexico and the third highest in North America after Denali and Mount Logan. Orizaba makes for an excellent first experience at high altitude

Torre BBVA bancomer by legorogers - mexico's tallest building

    

When it's completed later this year torre BBVA bancomer will become the tallest building in mexico, standing at 235 metres high. Designed by legorreta + legorreta architects and rogers stirk harbour + partners the tower is situated directly in front of torre mayor - the current tallest building in the city. bristish architect richard rogers and mexican architect ricardo legorreta won a competition to design a new headquarters building for BBVA bancomer in mexico city in 2009. the 50-storey tower will provide approximately 78,600 square meters of prime office space for BBVA bancomer and will accommodate approximately 4,500 employees.
