A NOTE FROM OUR VBS TEAM 
  Pray & Participate in VBS this week   And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, "Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?" And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. - Mark 4:37-31
    
We have an interesting VBS theme this year, Shipwrecked - Rescued by Jesus. Our Gospel text today gives us a compelling story of a ship with passengers in danger. There was real fear of death in these disciples, many of which were experienced fisherman who braved many angry waves. ....continue reading

Alter Flowers were given to the glory of God and in honor of their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 29th by Larry and Louise Tiemann.

Tuesday Communion  
This week we celebrate our monthly Communion service on Tuesday, June 26th. It starts at 1:30 with dessert and fellowship to follow. Who do you know who can't attend church on Sunday who would benefit from the service? We can provide rides.

Altar flowers are needed for Sundays! To provide flowers, call the church office or fill out the form below. The cost is $20.00 and checks should be made payable to the Altar Guild. You are welcome to take the flowers after Monday evening service. Thank you!
 

YOUTH
Youth:
Hi fellow senior youth and incoming youth!!
A few of the youth who attended Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF) will be sharing the curriculum that they learned. We invite all youth to join us in the senior youth room in the following Sundays: June 24, July 1, July 8, and July 15 for fun discussions. Blessings on your day!!!
