Voice of the Martyr Gift Packs

DiscoveryZone for Kids , for children age 4 years through 5th grade, meets regularly on Wednesdays at 6:30 in the basement. For complete information and to register your child(ren) click here.

Women's Bible Study

" 1 Peter - A Living Hope in Christ" Women's Bible Study meets at 9:00 AM at Discovery. This week we will discuss pages 123-127 and watching the final video "Clothed in Humility". Evening Women’s Bible Study meets Thursdays, at 5:30 PM at Discovery using “Discerning the Voice of God—How to Recognize When God Speaks” by Priscilla Shirer. GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays is a special one time event for those facing the holidays after the death of their loved one. The seminar features video interviews with counselors, grief experts, and other people who have experienced the holidays after their loved one’s death and who offer practical suggestions and reassurance. Each participant will also receive a Survival Guide filled with practical tips, encouraging words, journaling ideas, and exercises for daily help through the holiday season. Su rviving the Holidays will take place Thursday, November 16 at 7:00 PM at Discovery Church. If you are experiencing grief or know of someone in the community who might benefit from this seminar, please come and invite your friends and neighbors. Postcard invitation are available at the back of the worship center. Please help yourself!

Thanksgiving Feast Potluck  Sunday, November 19, 5:00 PM, here at Discovery Church. Please bring a main dish and a salad or dessert. Everyone is invited to this time of fellowship and thanksgiving to God.
Holiday Gift Wrapping will be offered to the community beginning Friday, November 24, 9:00 AM-Noon and thereafter on Saturday mornings November 25, December 2, 9, 16 and 23 from 9:00 AM—Noon. If you would be willing to help with this community outreach, please sign up at the back of the worship center. Please indicate on the sign up sheet what mornings you are available. If you have wrapping supplies you wish to donate, please contact the church office. Also, we need Christmas goodies to share on gift wrapping mornings. If you are willing to donate some of your Christmas baking please indicate on the sign up sheet at the back of the worship center. Questions contact Fran Livingston (605) 760-4712 or Mary Holdahl (605) 689-2211.
