Congress is in the final stages of setting a budget for FY18. 

AND HOPWA IS FACING A CUT!

We need you to call Congress and ask they fund HOPWA at $375M for FY18. 

Sample script: "Hi my name is ____ and I am part of the HIV community and live in your district. Please support a budget for FY18 that funds HOPWA at $375M, which is provided in the House budget."

Community Listening Session 

On Friday, October 27th, NAHC hosted a community listening session in Columbus, Ohio in conjunction with Equitas Health

Community members shared their experiences with housing programs and gave input on NAHC's advocacy agenda.

HIV AND HOUSING RESEARCH SUMMIT IX
August 1-3, 2018 | Washington, DC

The Housing & HIV/AIDS Research Summit Series provides a unique interdisciplinary forum where researchers, PLWH, policy analysts and service providers can discuss new findings on the role of housing and other social determinants on the health of people with or at risk for HIV. The Summit Series is the premier venue for informing HIV/AIDS housing policy and discussing the social drivers of HIV disease. The North American Housing and HIV Summit IX will provide an opportunity for in-depth conversation about the importance of addressing a full range of social drivers of HIV and disparities in plans to end the HIV epidemic.

The focus of  The North American Housing and HIV Summit: Structural Interventions and Ending the Epidemic will be on the role of housing and other structural interventions in ending the HIV epidemic. The North American Housing and HIV Summit IX will be held August 1 - 3, 2018, at the Capitol Hilton in Washington DC.
