Senior Fair on Sept. 23: Get a Table! - Only 4 left

On September 23rd, the Orinda will have its first Senior Health and Wellness Fair. The event is for seniors and their children who are interested in receiving information about staying healthy passed retirement.
We will be having yoga seminars, healthy food and refreshments, live music, prizes, fall prevention specialists, health specialists, housing options for seniors information, and more.
Our main speaker for this event, Dr. Patrick Arbore will be speaking about Senior Empowerment. Dr. Arbore is a winner of the Jefferson Silver Award and a nationally recognized speaker from the Institute on Aging.
He will will be followed by an expert panel presenting effective ways to improve health and wellness through exercise, nutrition, continuing education, spirituality, and connections.

ITVida | Websites for Small Businesses Opens in Orinda!
Longtime Orinda resident Molly Young is thrilled to announce the launch of her website design company ITVida. ITVida specializes in designing affordable websites for small businesses in Lamorinda and nearby East Bay cities. Molly offers website design, website maintenance, and DIY website completion services.
Molly believes every small business should have a website. "Not having one is the same as having an unlisted phone number," she observes. "Local, Personal, Affordable" is her motto.

Molly earned her Web Design Professional Concentration Certificate from UC Davis. In addition, she has a master's degree in Library & Information Science from UCLA. She has worked as a law librarian at private law firms and as a bookseller at Orinda Books and Mrs. Dalloway's Bookstore. Easy access to information is her passion. Molly's husband Ben is an attorney in San Francisco. Having lived in Orinda for over 20 years, the contented "empty-nesters" have two grown sons who went to Orinda schools. ORINDA, CA - For the second year in a row, Lamorinda Moms is proud to present to the community Dr. Laura Markham, who will advise us on how to facilitate a loving, connected relationship between siblings based on her recent book,
Peaceful Parent, Happy Siblings: How to Stop the Fighting and Raise Friends for Life
. This is a much-anticipated follow-up to her talk last year, which had more than 350 attendees. This year's event will take place on October 11, 2017, at the Orinda Intermediate School, from 7:00 to 9:00pm.
