Feb 1, 2017
Tri-city and Lamorinda have been and continue to be the chamber's buzz words for this beginning of February: after a very successful tri-city chamber mixer, here comes the Lamorinda Business Forum on Feb. 7 with Julia Glyde who will present Public Speaking for Business Success. She is a very dynamic and effective presenter, this promises to be a worthwhile event. Don't miss the tri-city sponsored social media training the next day.

Also be on the look-out for our next email in a few days called "Celebrate Valentine's Day Orinda-style!"

Mark your calendar for Friday April 14 and the 2017 edition of the Trivia Bee and for the Restaurant Tour on Tuesday May 2nd.

President's Corner

A few sunny days in the middle of winter remind us that storms are transient in contrast to the relative permanence of what we consider life as usual without roads hazards, umbrellas, and inconvenience. But, life as usual is easily mis-characterized as being ordinary. This month fight back against ordinary by recognizing those you hold near and dear with Valentine greetings and by sharing an extra dose of goodwill to all.
