President's Letter:

Everyone seems to be publishing "Top 10" lists for 2016 covering the entire range of the human condition from wars to tragedies to celebrities lost, love stories, heroic pets, etc. Although remembrance definitely has its place, we can also aspire to list hopes for the year to come.
Internationally, domestically and locally, turmoil seems to be a given in 2017 but sharper focus will reveal a lot of positives being accomplished both personally and locally. So, stay positive, influence others, and help lead in Lamorinda. After all, there is some very individual vision of a "Mayberry for the Internet age" encouraging each of us to contribute in whatever way we can.
One opportunity, starting today, is to support Orinda's celebration throughout 2017 of our Sister City relationship with Tabor in the Czech Republic, Year of the Czech.

Happy New Year and may all of your 2017 personal, professional, and societal hopes be realized.

Roy Hodgkinson
