Jan. 15, 2017
Mark your calendar for the next two Thursdays to support Orinda businesses, and to come to mingle with other Lamorinda businesses. This is one of the things your chamber loves doing: featuring its members and creating community.

This Thursday is the ribbon cutting for Taverna Pellegrini a restaurant that opened a little while back and has already made its mark. Thursday the 26 is the first 2017 Lamorinda tri-city mixer with our neighbors in Lafayette and Moraga. Come to expand your contacts. We'd love to see you!

Let's also extend our warmest welcome to chamber's newest member: Sibling Technologies, a service design agency right here in Orinda.

You can also mark your calendar for Friday April 14 and the 2017 edition of the Trivia Bee

President's Corner

With Monday being Martin Luther King Jr Day and Friday being Inauguration Day, this week has bookends that characterize our democracy. It's a good time to reflect on the themes of civil rights, freedom of speech, and the meaning of the Constitution. And, to be thankful that we have the freedom to think and share the results of such reflection in so many constructive ways.
