On
behalf of our NAHCC board and members, I would like to welcome you to a new membership year. We are happy to have you as a member, partner and friend in the community. With your support we can advance our mission to serve our members, and ultimately make a better city for all to enjoy. Every year we send you a
NAHCC member survey
which will help our board implement and fine tune our agenda for 2016. Also, every beginning of the year, we encourage our members to support, participate and get involved in the many celebrations honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, in January, followed by Black History Month in February. Our members are reminded and encouraged to give back participating in the selected activities we include in our newsletters, the result of our many meaning partnerships in the community.
It is in our mission at the NAHCC "to serve as a bridge..." between communities. As you will see in this newsletter, we have learned to embrace meaningful conections. I encourage you to join us, we have a great future ahead of us if we believe, in the words of Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. that "Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve."
