The Holiday Season is coming upon us and will be here soon. NHPA Historian, Bob Dunn, has written many books on the history of Horseshoe Pitching:

2) The Lee Rose Story

3) The World Champions of Horseshoe Pitching 1920-2010

 4) The SHOE, A Horseshoe Collectors Handbook

All would make nice gifts for friends and family or even yourself. The books are affordable and can be ordered direct from Bob. Just email  bobcharlesdunn@aol.com

Give the Gift of NHPA Membership
by Bill Marvin, 5th Vice President and Regional Director and Court Sanctioning Director
Fall signifies the end of the 2016 outdoor pitching season for those of us in the North.  It also marks the start for 2017.  New cards are now available for purchase from your Charter Secretary.  One way to recruit new players is to get them a membership for Christmas.  The NHPA card will fit nicely inside a Season Greeting and is a nice surprise to someone who has been thinking about joining the NHPA and will bolster the membership numbers for your Charter.

The NHPF must maintain the HOF building to the contracted standards designated within the lease with the St. Charles County Parks Department. The Quail Ridge Horseshoe Club just happens to lease the facility and we are extremely fortunate to have them as the official caretaker of the facility.
