Competition tends to breed success and competitng against the best elevates your level of play. Some of the best came out for the Young Starz showcase and they did not disappoint. Next Level would like to salute it participants, parents and award recepients for the help and support for the event.

Max Preps Freshmen All- Americans

Every year a few freshmen are awarded the honors of being named Freshmen All-Americans. This recognition is given to the best freshmen in the country. Next Level Nation was fortunate enough to have three NLN student athletes named to the All-American team. Here is what was said about NLN freshmen Rahshaun "Shaq" Smith, Steven Smothers, and Cameron Chambers.

Smith had an impact on Calvert Hall's defensive line but also saw action at tight end for one of Maryland's top programs.

A youth league legend, Smothers averaged nearly 30 yards per catch, accumulating 15 catches for 442 yards and six touchdowns.

A big, athletic target, Chambers caught 28 passes for 347 yards and four touchdowns against a very tough schedule

Scholar Athletes- Mike Jones & Malik Bridgers

The Scholar Athlete Award is awarded to student athletes who truly embody the mindset of a STUDENT athlete. Simply meaning student first, athlete second. It is with great pleasure that NLN can acknowledge for the 2nd consecutive year a student athlete who has received this distinguished honor.

NLN's Mike Johnes (Milford) and Malik Bridgers (Milford) were acknowledged for excelling in the classroom. We would like to send a big Live Up! Level Up! to these young men. It is refreshing to see well rounded young men embracing achievement on many different levels. Always remember, student before athlete, character above all.

  Regional All Star Games

Next Level Nation student athletes work hard to consistently get better. Several of NLN's trainees were afforded the opportunity to compete in different all-star games after the season. Team NLN wanted to acknowledge those young men for their accomplishments.
