Next Week: 1/12 scale Jim Clark Lotus 49

As we said last week, October is setting up to be a very busy month, especially for deliveries of new 1/12 and 1/18 scale models.

Next to arrive will be Automodello's 1/12 scale replica of the iconic Lotus 49 Ford as driven to victory by Jim Clark in its 1967 Dutch Grand Prix debut at Zandvoort. Our initial shipment is due to arrive in 6 days. We will begin processing advance orders on Monday.

The Lotus 49 is priced at $899.95. The price includes a custom display case with acrylic lid and engraved plaque. The Edition is limited to 499 pieces total. The initial production run has just arrived in the US.

We've received some exciting news this month. CMC's announcement this week that they will again produce 1/18 scale Ferrari replicas came completely out of the blue. Minichamps 'better late than never' production run of the Mario Andretti and Ronnie Peterson JPS Lotus 79s in 1/18 scale ($185.00 plus shipping) made us quite happy indeed.
